Now supporting teens ages 13-17
Begin your breakthrough in a structured and supportive small-group environment designed to enhance mental well-being and foster resilience. Family Care Center’s Alamo Heights mental health intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers a comprehensive treatment approach, delivering more intensive care than routine appointments without the constraints of inpatient care.
IOP details
- Meet for three hours, four days a week, for five or six weeks
- New members are welcomed weekly
- Small group sizes, no larger than 10
- Adolescent program geared for patients ages 13-17
- Each program is age-appropriated and matched to your individual circumstances to ensure maximum benefit for teens or adults
Our IOP services are in-network with all major insurance plans; all patients are offered financial assistance and self-pay options, except for VA and Medicaid. We can accept Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans as self-pay only.
Please note, this is not a substance abuse program.
Psychoeducational testing
Our psychoeducational evaluations provide a comprehensive understanding of strengths and areas of difficulty, guiding personalized support and intervention strategies.
