Aritza Corrales, LPC
Located at Alamo Heights, TX
I’m a bilingual therapist and veteran passionate about providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care to individuals and families navigating life’s challenges.
I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science degree and a passion for providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care. I work with children, adolescents, adults, parents, veterans, and military families experiencing trauma, anxiety, life transitions, parenting challenges, and women’s issues.
My approach recognizes that our culture, identity, relationships, and lived experiences shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us. I believe we carry lessons from our families, cultures, and experiences that taught us how to survive, and healing can involve honoring what carried us this far while discovering that life can become more than surviving.
As a veteran, I also bring an understanding of military culture and the unique experiences of service members and their families. In therapy, I strive to create a collaborative and compassionate space where clients feel understood as whole people while building insight, strengthening resilience, breaking generational patterns, and creating meaningful change.
