Family Care Center is uniquely qualified to offer services to military families, Veterans and First Responders. Family Care Center was founded by two Veterans of the U.S. Army.  Our clinical staff includes a large portion of Veterans, military spouses and family members, and clinicians with a deep understanding of the unique nature of mental health treatment within the military and First Responder communities. Our cultural competency into the challenges of the military and First Responders goes beyond our sincere appreciation for service. This clearly sets us apart from other providers.

Veteran Counseling - First Responder Counseling

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is an innovative technology that is approved by the FDA for the treatment of depression through a non-invasive form of brain stimulation. All major insurances cover TMS treatment for depression. Several studies have also shown TMS to be effective in the treatment of other conditions, such as anxiety, PTSD and chronic pain.

FCC providers are experts in TMS. We have delivered more TMS treatments than any other group in Colorado. We can determine if TMS can be a helpful component of your treatment.

Medication Management

Our providers, including several psychiatrists, work side-by-side with you to determine if medications may be a helpful part of your care.  Our team of seasoned medical providers collaborate with the other members of your treatment team to ensure that all medications are safe and effective for each person. Medications prescribed include:

  • Mood Stabilizers
  • Stimulants/Concentration Assistance
  • Sleep Medication
  • Anti-Anxiety Medication
