About Family Care Center
Decade of Transforming Behavioral Health
Our journey began in 2016 when two U.S. Army Veterans founded Family Care Center to care for service members, Veterans and their families. We continue that tradition today, caring for people of all ages across a broad range of conditions with ~50 outpatient clinics in communities across the country.

Where behavioral health behaves differently
At Family Care Center, we provide a truly integrated outpatient behavioral health model. Our clinics are structured to easily connect patients with a multidisciplinary staff that delivers evidence-based care guided by outcomes.
Each of our conveniently located clinics typically includes licensed therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychiatric NPs/PAs, and TMS specialists under one roof. Together, they provide comprehensive mental health care with proven positive results.

Our comprehensive care model uses best-in-class, evidence-based practices built upon innovations from military medicine. Through research and critical thought, we continually adapt and improve our approach.
Following our comprehensive care model, over 90% of patients show positive mental health outcomes, significantly better than the national benchmark of 52%.

Research & education
At Family Care Center, we have a commitment to advancing the field of mental health through rigorous research and comprehensive education. Our in-house research team conducts and publishes research on novel treatments, patient outcomes, and standards of care.
We also prioritize education, offering our staff ongoing training and professional development opportunities. We have dual accreditations from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) and the American Psychological Association (APA).
Through these efforts, we strive to enhance our understanding of mental health, empower our providers, and improve our services.
The TMS Center of Excellence
Our Stone Oak clinic is proud to be home to the Family Care Center TMS Center of Excellence, a national leader in advancing transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and behavioral health. The Center drives clinical innovation, leads research, and sets the standard for TMS treatment across all our locations. Through these efforts, we’re delivering breakthrough protocols and achieving life-changing results for patients across the country.
