How it Began

Our story began in 2016 when Dr. Chuck Weber, a recently retired Army psychiatrist, founded Family Care Center in Colorado Springs with a clear mission: to deliver outpatient mental health care to the military community. After years of war, many soldiers and their families were facing significant challenges and needed greater support. Drawing from his deep experience, Dr. Weber combined best practices of military medicine with new and innovative techniques from around the country to create a unique, integrated model of outpatient mental health care.

Dr. Weber understood that by supporting our providers and staff, we create an environment where clinicians feel valued, thrive, and can focus on what matters most—the well-being of every patient.

TMS: Bringing New Hope

From the very beginning, Dr. Weber recognized the life-changing power of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) —an advanced, non-invasive treatment offering hope and healing for patients with depression and other mental health conditions. Family Care Center has become one of the nation’s leading TMS providers, known for its strong track record of treatment success. We continually push the boundaries of care through innovative protocols and research, so we can help patients achieve optimal wellness.

At Family Care Center, we have a commitment to advancing the field of mental health through rigorous research and comprehensive education. Our in-house research team conducts and publishes research on novel treatments, patient outcomes and standards of care.

We also prioritize education, offering our staff ongoing training and professional development opportunities. We have dual accreditations from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) and the American Psychological Association (APA).
