CEDAR PARK, Texas (Feb. 27, 2024) — Family Care Center is proud to announce the newest member of our Cedar Park, TX clinic, adult psychiatrist Dr. Anitha Dayalan, MD. With a dedication to compassionate care and a wealth of experience in psychiatric treatment, Dr. Dayalan brings invaluable expertise to Family Care Center and our team in the Austin area.
Dr. Dayalan received her medical degree from the University of South Florida and completed her General Adult Psychiatry Residency Program at Boston Medical Center. She was inspired to become a psychiatrist after seeing the impact untreated mental health struggles can have on a person, their social network and the community. She has since built a reputation for her commitment to each patient’s well-being.
Dr. Dayalan encourages using behavioral interventions with medication management to help patients achieve an improved quality of life. “Difficulties with mental health are incredibly common but that doesn’t mean you have to suffer alone. I encourage anyone struggling with their mental health to seek help,” said Dr. Dayalan.
She is currently accepting new patients and offers psychiatric services, including but not limited to:
- Treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychotic spectrum disorders, ADHD, PTSD and other mental health conditions
- Assessing and diagnosing mental health and psychiatric disorders
- Prescribing and managing medication as needed
