Zack McMurren, LPC
Located at Louisville, CO
I help adolescents and adults navigate difficult seasons, build resilience, and move toward lives rooted in meaning, connection, and purpose.
Sometimes life feels overwhelming. You may be carrying anxiety that won’t quiet down, depression that makes everything feel heavier, or pain that has left you wondering how to keep moving forward. Other times, you may simply feel stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about what comes next. Whatever brings you to therapy, you don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centered care. I believe effective therapy begins with a genuine relationship where you can be honest about what you are experiencing–even the thoughts that can be difficult to say out loud.
My approach balances compassion with appropriate challenge. Together, we’ll work to understand what you are experiencing, identify what matters most to you, and find meaningful ways forward. I see therapy as a collaborative process–meeting you where you are while never losing sight of where you hope to go.
