Shauna Roubidoux, LPC

Clinical Therapist

I am a licensed therapist with a unique background that includes service in the Army and work as a law enforcement dispatcher–experiences that deepen my understanding of stress, trauma, and resilience.

I believe therapy works best when you feel understood, not judged. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what’s weighing on you, whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck.

Before becoming a therapist, I served in the Army and worked as a law enforcement dispatcher. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the ways stress, responsibility, and trauma can shape our lives, and they continue to inform my work today. I’m trained in EMDR and have extensive experience helping people process difficult experiences and build resilience.

While I have specialized experience supporting first responders and mothers during the postpartum period, I work with adults from all walks of life. I especially enjoy working with people who are used to being the strong one, the helper, the protector, the problem solver, yet find it difficult to ask for help themselves.

My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Together we’ll identify what’s keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that support lasting change.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll usually find me paddling, camping, or enjoying Colorado’s outdoors. Nature reminds me that growth takes time, and healing often happens one step at a time.
