Rita Ann Sammis, PMHNP-BC, APRN
Located at Interquest, CO
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide compassionate, holistic psychiatric care for individuals across the lifespan. I truly enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds, and my experience in pediatrics and addiction medicine has shaped the way I connect with and care for each patient.
I believe every person deserves to feel understood, respected, and supported, regardless of where they are in their mental health journey.
Meaningful care begins with understanding the whole person, not simply focusing on symptoms. I take the time to learn about each patient’s overall health, experiences, strengths, values, and goals so we can create a treatment plan that feels individualized and achievable. My approach is collaborative, and I encourage patients to be active participants in their care.
Above all, I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, sharing your experiences, and knowing that you will be heard without judgment. I am passionate about helping my patients recognize their own strength, embrace who they are, and never lose sight of their ability to grow, heal, and shine.
