Remy Sullivan

Clinical Therapist

Remy blends her knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Choice Theory to help clients process their presenting concerns and identify strategies for healthy symptom management.

Remy Sullivan is a licensed professional who holds a B.S. in Sociology from the University of Rhode Island and an M.Ed. in Counseling from Bridgewater State University. In her eight years of applying her clinical training to work with schools and mental health agencies, Remy has addressed concerns with medication management, stress intolerance, crisis intervention, and emotional dysregulation. She approaches each client relationship as a collaboration rooted in mutual respect and belief in healthy rapport and willingness to be vulnerable in a safe space.
Remy integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Choice Theory, encouraging practical tools to help adjust unhealthy patterns in thought and behavior. Clients can see symptoms not as problems to fix, but as signals of an unmet need. Sometimes we have to deviate from what’s familiar to understand what’s missing.
Using reflective listening and positive reframing, Remy meets with clients of all ages — from young children through adulthood — supporting concerns including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, self-esteem, and LGBTQ+ identity exploration. Clients choose to work with Remy not just for symptom management, but for a deeper understanding of what’s driving their reported concerns.
We can all appreciate the accomplishment in developing our own strategies and exploring what it means to feel grounded and fulfilled.
