Nick Umholtz, PMHNP-BC
Located at Loveland, CO
I strive to create a safe and supportive space where individualized care empowers each person to heal, grow, and reach their fullest potential.
As a Northern Colorado native, I feel fortunate to care for the people and communities that have always been home to me. My journey into mental health care began with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and more than five years of experience as a critical care nurse. Through my nursing career, I developed a deep appreciation for caring for the whole person and for the many factors that shape our well-being.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I have clinical experience working with veterans at the VA, children and adolescents, and adults from all walks of life. This background has reinforced my belief that every person’s mental health journey is unique and deserves to be approached with understanding, curiosity, and respect.
I strive to partner with my patients to better understand their experiences, identify their goals, and create individualized plans for care. I believe that feeling heard and understood can be an important first step toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
