Michael Roux, LPC, LAC
Located at Louisville, CO
I help adults address addiction, co-occurring conditions, men’s issues, and concerns related to military service and veteran life.
Are you ready for something in your life to change but feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin? I work with adults dealing with addiction, anxiety, depression, loneliness, co-occurring mental health concerns, and difficult life transitions.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor with more than 18 years of experience. My approach is collaborative, direct, trauma-informed, and tailored to your needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and strengths-based approaches to help you better understand what is happening, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and take practical steps toward meaningful change.
You can expect support, honest feedback, and respectful challenge–not a one-size-fits-all approach. As a U.S. Army veteran, I also understand military culture and the difficulty many service members and veterans experience when adjusting, asking for help, or addressing addiction and mental health concerns. I believe you are the expert on your life, and we will work together toward goals that are realistic, useful, and meaningful to you.
