Melissa Middleton, LCSW
Located at New Braunfels, TX
I’m passionate about helping children, teens, and adults navigate grief, trauma, life transitions, and life’s challenges through compassionate, evidence-based care.
Hi, I’m Melissa Middleton, LCSW. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership built on trust, compassion, and respect. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel comfortable showing up as yourself while we work together toward meaningful change.
I work with children ages 6 and older, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and other emotional difficulties. Much of my professional background has been in healthcare and hospice settings, where I supported individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult moments. Those experiences deepened my passion for helping people build resilience, find healing, and move forward with hope.
I am EMDR trained and incorporate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed care. I tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs, strengths, and goals, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing.
Whether you’re facing a recent challenge, processing past experiences, or simply feeling stuck, I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout your journey.
