Mark Hodge, LPC/MHSP
Located at Brentwood, TN
I believe healing happens in a therapeutic relationship that is non-judgmental and grounded in unconditional positive regard. My job as your therapist is to help you explore what is, and is not, working for you. We can then explore solutions that align with your values and worldview. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP).
My approach is Person Centered at its foundation, which means you set the direction and I meet you where you are. I also draw on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills as your needs call for them. I work with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and relationship challenges.
I take a strengths-based approach. Symptoms matter, and so does what is already working in your life. We build on both. If faith and spirituality are important to you, I have experience integrating them into our work, and that is your call to make, not mine.
