Laurence Lopez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Colorado who is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion and practical support. Laurence has worked with a wide variety of populations in various settings, including recovery/eating disorder treatment, school setting therapy at a middle/high school, and even nursing home/LTC facilities. Laurence works collaboratively with clients to foster lasting growth and resilience. He welcomes tears, anger, and laughter in his sessions. With a client-centered and evidence-informed approach, Laurence creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, sexual difficulties, stress, and personal growth. Laurence uses SFBT, EFT, CBT techniques, and various other systemic approaches to meet clients where they are to empower achieving their therapeutic goals. He honors clients’ bravery to seek help, and utilizes their unique experiences and strengths. When not providing therapy, Laurence enjoys playing piano, lifting weights, and modern hobby boardgames with friends (anything but monopoly).
