Clinical Therapist

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling. I work primarily with adults.

I also work with teens, families, and couples. I’ve worked in both community and government settings. While working for the government, I helped people who worked in high stress, first responder, and crisis environments. I also worked with victims of crimes. I take a Client Centered Approach that includes Rogerian, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, the Gottman Method, and Solution-Focused interventions. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Much of my work centers around treating and supporting individuals as they navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief. I believe that it takes tremendous strength and courage to work through and face the traumas and difficult experiences that can weave into our everyday experience, our relationships, and our perceptions of who we are. Our past shapes how we see the world and our relationships. I have been blessed to work with and treat amazing people that have realized personal healing and have come to an understanding that these problems do not have to define them. People are worth and capable of healing and creating new stories. I strive to create a space of healing that allows my clients to find themselves, outside of the issues that weigh them down, so they are able to rediscover their identity, individual gifts, and purpose.
