I’m Dr. Karlene Kilmer, a clinical psychologist with twenty-five plus years of experience.

I work with adult clients, aged 25 years and up. My areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, women’s issues, LGBTQ+ issues, and life transitions. Living in Colorado Springs, I’ve worked with the military population, including active duty, dependents, and veterans, since 2012.
I use an eclectic, biopsychosocial approach with several research-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. My approach is to both support and challenge you while also giving you the necessary tools to reach your goals.
