My passion is working with children, young adults, and people with neurodevelopmental differences. Helping people feel less alone and recognize their strengths while also helping to build on areas that they don’t excel in yet is one of the best aspects of my career.
My goal as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is to help you feel and be your best by supporting your mental health and wellbeing. In our first session, we will explore your goals. We will discuss what your struggles are and try to understand where they are coming from. In the following visits, we will create a personalized plan together using evidence-based approaches, which may include a combination of modalities from prescription medications, therapies, and even some non-medication options. We will regularly review your progress and adjust as your needs evolve. I strive to offer a warm, safe environment where you can grow and, hopefully we will even have some fun along the way! (Notice how I say “we” so much? That’s because this is a collaboration- I expect you to be actively involved every step of the way. This process works best if you take an active role in bettering your mental health.) I’ve worked extensively with young children, pre-teens, teens, and young adults and look forward to expanding my practice to see more adults and early middle-aged adults.
