My approach uses practical tools drawn from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing — plus a compassionate space where your story matters. I believe healing doesn’t come from masking pain or “getting over it.” It comes from being met with empathy, understanding, and real-life strategies that support resilience, self-compassion, and sustainable change.

Do you ever feel stuck under anxiety that seems to tighten around you for no reason? Or find that painful memories don’t fade — they just echo, making it hard to move forward with confidence and peace of mind? You don’t have to navigate this alone. I’m Jennifer, a licensed therapist who helps adults healing from trauma, grief, and the heaviness of depression/anxiety reclaim their sense of safety, hope, and self-respect. Together we’ll gently explore what keeps you feeling “on edge,” what tirelessly loops in your mind, and what old wounds still hold power — so you can finally unpack the weight and begin to feel like yourself again. I discovered my passion for counseling while working as a Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor at Ft. Huachuca. Supporting the men and women in service to our country inspired me to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, with the goal of one day serving them in return. Since earning my degree, I developed a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and substance use. I work with clients ages 18 and older, offering a compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy. I emphasize research-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and more. I also draws from Existential Therapy and, when requested by the client, incorporate faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process. I believes in building a true partnership in therapy–where you are the expert in your life and I bring clinical insight and support to help you reach your goals.
