I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in my field for 25 years. I started my journey to my career in social work by trying to figure out my own issues that did not allow me to thrive in my own life. I learned that change is possible if one is willing and open to the process.
I use various interventions and modalities to support the client through their process of change. I meet the client exactly where they are in their understanding of self. I provide a kind, understanding, and supportive environment, so the client feels comfortable and safe to explore what brought them to therapy. This allows them to discover their own answers about how to make changes and feel whole and complete with themselves. I work with adults, 18 and older, who are struggling with depression, PTSD, issues related to the LGBTQ community, addiction, relationship issues, stress, anxiety, difficult life events, life transitions, decisions, and self-discovery, to name a few.
