I believe effective mental health care begins with listening, understanding each patient’s needs, and working together toward meaningful change.
A board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with experience providing psychiatric care in an inpatient child and adolescent unit setting, including working with youth experiencing acute ad complex behavioral and mental health needs. Clinical experience includes treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, behavioral and emotional dysregulation, trauma-related concerns, and other mental health conditions. Care is provided through a collaborative, patient centered approach that combines comprehensive psychiatric assessment, medication management, psychoeducation and supportive interventions tailored to each patient’s individual needs. Emphasis is placed on understanding each person’s symptoms, experiences, strengths, and goals rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis. The goal is to create a welcoming and respectful environment where patients and families feel heard, involved in treatment decisions, and supported in working toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
