IOP Psychology Technician focused on clinical assessment, crisis intervention, client safety, and stregths-based mental health care.
I am an an IOP Psychology Technician with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University and worked in mental health since 2023. I am pursuing my master’s degree in School Counseling and Mental Health Counseling at Walden University to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.
As a Latina and first-generation college graduate, I have found that my experiences have shaped the way I connect with and understand others. I value cultural understanding, representation, and recognizing the individual behind the diagnosis. My own experiences with perseverance, education, and personal growth continue to influence the way I support others.
My approach is clinically focused, compassionate, and evidence-based. I place a strong emphasis on assessment, safety, and measurable progress. Patients should choose to work with me because I genuinely care about their safety, progress, and well-being. I am committed to continuing to learn, grow, and develop as a mental health professional while making a meaningful difference.
