I often encourage everyone I work with to be patient with the process, recognizing that it is a process. We will work together to best establish what it is you want to focus on. 

Choosing to come to counseling and share your feelings and struggles can often feel daunting and somewhat overwhelming. As a clinician, I like to think there is great strength and taking that step to open yourself and begin to work through the things of life that tend to feel like “too much” or overwhelming in general. I often encourage everyone I work with to be patient with the process, recognizing that it is a process. We will work together to best establish what it is you want to focus on and learn to better understand yourself and you.
