I value the therapeutic relationship as the foundation of effective therapy and strive to create a space where clients feel supported, understood, and genuinely validated.
Through a collaborative approach, I help clients clarify their goals, deepen insight, explore new ways of engaging with life, and build practical skills that foster lasting change. For the past 4.5 years, I have worked primarily with older adults, a population I deeply enjoy serving. I am passionate about helping individuals cultivate a renewed sense of purpose as they age, work through unresolved experiences from earlier in life, and thoughtfully prepare for end-of-life transitions. It is meaningful to support clients as they reflect on their life stories and consider how they want to move forward. Throughout my career, I have also worked with children, adolescents, college students, and adults. While my recent focus has been on older adults, I enjoy working with adults across the lifespan, particularly those navigating life transitions and parenting challenges. My theoretical orientation is grounded in Person-Centered therapy, which emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing techniques to support insight, strengthen coping strategies, and encourage meaningful, self-directed change.
