Carlos Diaz, MD

I am a fully licensed psychiatrist in Arizona who completed my psychiatric residency training at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA in 1993. Since then, I have worked at a number of different environments, including academic medical centers, outpatient clinics, both private and community-focused, and as a consultant on the floors of medical and surgical hospitals. I have worked with patients who suffer from severe mental illness as well as less serious conditions. I like meeting patients where they are at and work well with patients affected by a wide variety of conditions. I feel comfortable working with patients who experience complicated medical conditions which might impact on their overall mental health. I work with a number of different interventions and therapeutic modalities, and I am always seeking to learn new modalities that might benefit my patients. I am able to provide management with psychiatric medications that complement the therapy that other providers are using as part of the treatment being provided to our patients. I strive to make every effort to communicate with patients and clarify any doubts that my patients might have regarding their treatment.
