I am down-to-earth and energetic at heart. I love getting to know others and fostering real conversations that can take you beyond the group room. I believe therapy works best when you can actually be yourself in the room. My primary focus is working with teens and young adults in the IOP setting. I have utilized CBT and DBT-informed approaches to foster humor, creativity, and real curiosity about people’s unique experiences. I am especially passionate about interpersonal skills and helping people understand themselves a little better, so that, in turn, they can help others better understand them. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up as you are in the present moment, while still being challenged to grow.
Hey there! I’m Brittany, and I earned my bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communication from Grand Canyon University and am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work. My professional experience includes working with adolescents and families in intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization settings, where I have supported clients through group facilitation, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and skills-based programming. I have also worked in inpatient care at a residential treatment center where I provided direct support to children and adolescents struggling with behavioral and interpersonal issues.
I am especially passionate about creating spaces that cultivate authenticity, honesty, and creativity while also helping clients build practical skills they can carry into everyday life. I value empathy, individuality, and curiosity. I find that these values help me meet people where they are in their journey. I fully believe that you are the author of your story and desire to empower you to continue writing! My growing professional interests include group work, adolescent mental health, somatic experiencing, animal-assisted interventions, and experiential and adventure-based approaches to mental health care.
Outside of work, I enjoy anime, pottery, spending time outdoors, and adventures with my husband and two dogs.
