Andrea Yockel, LPC
Located at Interquest, CO
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor, and have a Masters in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado. I have a background working in an inpatient rehab setting where I discovered a specific passion for empowering women experiencing burnout, low self-esteem, and codependent behaviors.
My main area of focus is helping adults and couples navigating major life transitions. Most of my work centers around aiding those facing a new season, such as entering mid-life, new parenthood, career changes, divorce, infidelity, retirement and complicated grief. Through a person-centered lens I strive to approach clients with a compassionate curiosity to aid them in confronting unhelpful thought patterns, recognize areas of pain, process emotions, move gently into acceptance, and create a more authentic/empowered narrative for their life.
