Alyssa Finley, LPC
Located at Central Austin, TX
I practice therapy using the Psychodynamic Relational model, which holds that the majority of harm occurs within the context of human relationships, and that the same harm must also be healed within a restorative relationship.
That being said, my therapeutic style is deeply relational. Folks reach out to me for a variety of reasons, including debilitating seasons of anxiety/depression, difficulty with life transitions, and frustrations with repeating relational patterns, as well as symptoms of post-traumatic stress. I have found that most often, our suffering is the consequence of energetic blockage due to relational trauma, whether past or ongoing. I work to identify these blockages, illuminate your inner knowing, and encourage the truth inside of you to speak for itself. I offer intuitive and evidence-based guidance, insight, and support as you meet the parts of yourself that have been silenced or suppressed in the pursuit of survival. Together, we will nourish these parts to make way for a fully integrated you, capable of creating the life you’ve always dreamed of — a life of security, creativity, clarity, prosperity, and freedom.
