ALAMO HEIGHTS, Texas (August 19, 2024) — Family Care Center is thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Reginald Lloyd, a distinguished psychiatrist, to our Alamo Heights clinic in Texas. Dr. Lloyd brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to providing exceptional mental health care to the San Antonio area.
Texas faces significant challenges with mental health access, often experiencing months-long waits for psychiatric care—the worst in the nation. Dr. Lloyd’s arrival is a significant step in addressing this critical need. His expertise and compassionate approach align perfectly with Family Care Center’s mission to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of our local communities. We are confident that his presence will greatly enhance our ability to serve our patients.
Dr. Lloyd, a board-certified psychiatrist in Alamo Heights, earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed both general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
He is currently accepting new patients and offers immediate psychiatric services, including but not limited to:
- Treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychotic spectrum disorders, ADHD, PTSD and other mental health conditions
- Assessing and diagnosing mental health and psychiatric disorders
- Prescribing and managing medication as needed
