COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Nov. 13, 2024) — Family Care Center welcomes Dr. Briana Tillman, DO, as the newest psychiatrist at our Briargate Clinic in Colorado Springs. As a Board-Certified ABPN and adolescent and young adult psychiatrist, Dr. Tillman brings a wealth of expertise and a holistic approach to mental health care, offering comprehensive treatment for patients ages 13 and up.
“As an osteopath, I believe in approaching mental health through a holistic lens,” says Dr. Tillman. “I work with patients to develop treatment plans that integrate medications, therapy and lifestyle factors, aiming to treat the whole person. My goal is to meet patients where they are in their mental health journey and focus on their treatment goals.”
Dr. Tillman specializes in treating a broad range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, autism, addiction disorders, gender dysphoria, OCD, postpartum depression, psychotic disorders, sexual abuse and more. She is dedicated to developing personalized treatment plans through collaborative care, working closely with advanced practice providers, psychologists and therapists to ensure the most effective outcomes for her patients.
Dr. Tillman received her medical degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency at The Medical Center of Aurora. Her extensive background and holistic approach to care make her a valuable addition to the Family Care Center team.
