I’ve found that Cognitive Behavorial therapy can often provide many useful techniques and practices and often work for a variety of difficult issues. Technology, art and movement can be a great complement to therapy and will integrate digital lessons and various modalities into treatment. I have a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Central Missouri and over 15 years of experience managing and treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship issues, emotional regulation, and grief and loss.
I take a trauma-informed, collaborative approach in therapy, and my aim is to foster a safe, empathetic space where you can explore ways to design a well- lived and joyful life. In our work together, you’ll learn how to manage feeling overwhelmed, set better boundaries, and become more aware of limiting mindsets. You’ll discover how to navigate life’s ups and downs, while gaining insight and taking active, effective steps to embody your deepest, truest self. I like to use humor and relate stories to make therapy a more personal, positive experience.
