MESA, Arizona (Nov. 29, 2024) — Family Care Center is pleased to announce Dr. Mireille Reece, PsyD, as the new Regional Director of Arizona. A licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience in behavioral health, Dr. Reece brings a wealth of expertise as a clinician, educator, advocate and executive leader to her new role.
With her extensive background and commitment to improving behavioral health outcomes, Dr. Reece is poised to make a meaningful impact in Arizona, which is currently one of the worst states in the nation for mental health access. Ranking 48th in the nation, the state faces a pressing need for expanded care options.
“Dr. Reece’s vision and leadership will help strengthen the connection between high-quality mental health care and overall community well-being,” said Dr. Chris Ivany, Chief Operating Officer of Family Care Center. “Her dedication to collaboration and innovation aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver measurement-based care that changes lives.”
As Arizona regional director, Dr. Reece will be responsible for strategic planning, new programming, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to provide the best possible care for patients. She is committed to increasing mental health access for Arizonans, strengthening community partnerships and ensuring providers have the resources they need to thrive.
“Mental health care should be accessible, comprehensive, and designed to meet people where they are,” said Dr. Reece. “My goal is to support our teams and communities by ensuring we offer services across the lifespan, empowering individuals and families to live their best lives.”
The opening of Family Care Center’s Mesa clinic marks an important milestone in the organization’s mission to expand access to mental health services across Arizona.
