NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 13, 2024) — Family Care Center welcomes Dr. Jennifer Wheeler as the newest psychiatrist in Nashville, supporting the company’s Midtown Clinic. Dr. Wheeler’s extensive experience in mental health, coupled with her expertise in evidence-based practices and psychiatric treatment, will benefit individuals across all age groups.
Dr. Wheeler, a board-certified psychiatrist in Nashville, earned her medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency training at the University of Texas-Southwestern in Dallas.
With a background in treating multiple mental health and substance use disorders, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder and ADHD, Dr. Wheeler is known for her ability to individualize treatment plans based on patient goals.
She is currently accepting new patients and offers psychiatric services, including but not limited to:
- Treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychotic spectrum disorders, ADHD, PTSD and other mental health conditions
- Assessing and diagnosing mental health and psychiatric disorders
- Prescribing and managing medication as needed
