GOLDEN, Colo. – Family Care Center proudly introduces the newest psychiatrist in Golden, Dr. Giselle McIntyre. Dr. McIntyre specializes in adult care and works alongside a diverse team of psychiatric advanced practice providers, psychologists and therapists. Her focus on evidence-based treatments will empower individuals to overcome challenges and achieve lasting wellness.
Dr. McIntyre received her medical training from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She completed her psychiatry residency training at the University of Utah.
Dr. McIntyre strongly believes in the interconnectedness between mind, body, and spirit. She shared, “My goal is to help others recognize their own power in their lives, using varying tools including medication, therapeutic and holistic approaches.” Her dedication to creating personalized treatment plans helps patients regain confidence, resilience and a deeper connection to their own well-being.
She is currently accepting new patients for adult psychiatric services in Golden, including but not limited to:
- Treatment of autism, addiction disorders, anxiety, depression, gender dysphoria, psychotic disorders, postpartum depression and other mental health conditions
- Assessing and diagnosing mental health and psychiatric disorders
- Prescribing and managing medication as needed
