HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. – Family Care Center is excited to announce Dr. Robert Alessi has joined our Mount Juliet and Hendersonville clinics. Dr. Alessi is a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive training and experience in various modalities of psychotherapy and psychopharmacology.
He brings a wealth of experience in evidence-based psychiatric treatments, having helped many individuals overcome their challenges and, in turn, build resilience and a better quality of life.
Dr. Alessi received his medical training from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. He began his Psychiatric Residency Training Program at Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University and completed his training at New York Hospital, Cornell University, both in New York City.
His commitment to tailoring comprehensive treatment plans with an emphasis on quality of care has resulted in many patients achieving a renewed sense of purpose, clarity, and confidence.
“I use a kind, compassionate, and comprehensive approach in helping my patients to improve the quality of their lives,” Dr. Alessi shared. “I pride myself in encouraging comprehensive lifestyle changes and mindfulness strategies in my patients’ personal journeys through change and, in turn, growth.”
Dr. Alessi is currently accepting new patients for adolescent and adult psychiatric services, including, but not limited to:
- Assessing and diagnosing behavioral health/psychiatric disorders.
- Treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychotic spectrum disorders, ADHD, PTSD, TBI, ASD, interface of medical and psychiatric disorders, and other behavioral health/psychiatric disorders.
- Prescribing and managing psychotropic medications and providing psychotherapy using Psychoanalytic, CBT, DBT strategies, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), all as clinically indicated.
