LONE TREE, Colo. (Sept. 23, 2024) — Family Care Center is proud to welcome the newest member of our Lone Tree, CO clinic, adolescent and adult psychiatrist Dr. Max Rubenstein, DO. Dr. Rubenstein’s extensive experience and commitment to compassionate care make him a valuable addition to our Lone Tree team. His expertise will enhance our ability to provide our patients with the highest standard of psychiatric care, with appointments available in days, not months.
Dr. Rubenstein received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and completed his residency program at Health One Medical Center of Aurora in Colorado. He sees all types of patients and has a special interest in working with the LGBTQIA population. He also sees individuals who are in their teens and older and finds great joy in getting to care for his patients.
“I take a patient-centered, team-based approach to care to find the best way to support each patient,” said Dr. Rubenstein. “I value the multidisciplinary approach at Family Care Center because medication management is just one aspect of comprehensive mental health care. Being able to help a person from multiple angles and collaborating with different perspectives ensures we give people the most robust care.”
He is currently accepting new patients and offers psychiatric services, including but not limited to:
- Treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychotic spectrum disorders, ADHD, PTSD and other mental health conditions
- Assessing and diagnosing mental health and psychiatric disorders
- Prescribing and managing medication as needed
