DENVER (August 12, 2024) — Family Care Center is honored to announce a strategic partnership with the Special Operations Care Fund (SOC-F) to enhance the well-being of those who have served within our nation’s Special Operations Forces. This collaboration will provide accelerated transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatment, addressing critical behavioral health conditions such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and more.
TMS is a non-invasive procedure that uses magnetic coils to stimulate nerve cells in the brain. It’s a proven, highly effective option for patients who haven’t responded adequately to antidepressants or other treatments, making it an essential tool in addressing the unique mental health challenges faced by Special Operations warriors.
