LOVELAND, Colo. (March 7, 2024) — Family Care Center is proud to announce the newest member of our Loveland, CO clinic, psychiatrist Dr. Dawnelle Schatte, MD, DFAPA, DFAACAP. With a wealth of experience in child, adolescent and adult psychiatric treatment, Dr. Schatte brings invaluable expertise to Family Care Center and our Loveland team.
Dr. Schatte received her medical degree and completed her adult psychiatry training from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her child fellowship training at the University of Texas-Houston and is a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatry Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Schatte focuses on person-centered care while practicing evidence-based medicine to help patients achieve an improved quality of life. “When it comes to patient care, I believe the primary purpose of a physician is to give hope,” said Dr. Schatte. “I enjoy providing patients with the information they need to feel empowered during treatment.”
She is currently accepting new patients and offers psychiatric services, including but not limited to:
- Treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychotic spectrum disorders, ADHD, PTSD and other mental health conditions
- Assessing and diagnosing mental health and psychiatric disorders
- Prescribing and managing medication as needed
