Meet the Providers

I grew up in North Dakota and Wisconsin, spending my youth helping on my grandparent’s farm or playing basketball and tennis. I went to West Point for college, where I added rugby to my list of sports. I was in the Army for 11 years after graduation, including two trips to Iraq and one to Kuwait. Now I have settled in Aurora, Colorado. I enjoy hiking and doing wood working projects with my family as well as giving lots of attention to my two dogs.
I was initially assigned to military intelligence while in the Army, but applied to PA school because I have always been interested in health and helping people! I served as an active duty Army PA for 4 years before switching over to focus on military family members/dependents/retirees with Evans Army Community Hospital in Ft. Carson, CO. I believe each part of life offers its own blessings and challenges.Â
I believe emotional and behavioral health is the foundation to every other aspect of our lives. It is amazing what can be achieved when your mind is optimized for your individual needs. I do my very best to support and inform each patient’s unique health journey.

If you’re in a challenging time in your life and desire some support navigating the waters, it’s my privilege to partner with you. My goal is to support you with compassion, objective listening, supportive guidance, healing strategies, and hope. Many of us move through life carrying significant emotional burdens that hold us back from living a fuller life.

I have lived in Colorado for a little over 2 years now. I have a passion for clinical operations and healthcare management. Being part of a team and organization that serves the community is my passion. There are many different pieces to a well-functioning clinic, and I am glad to be contributing with Family Care Center. I love to hang out with friends, go to thrift stores, and try new restaurants and coffee shops!

I was raised a Military dependent in the Air Force. We were stationed in many different countries and cities throughout my growing up years. My favorite place was Panama Canal Zone because our back yard was the jungle and you could hear the animals at night. My hobbies and passions are traveling to explore different cultures and scenery. We've created a great family environment here at the Parker clinic, which is something I really love.Â

All journeys begin with a single step, and we can take that step together. Above all else, my goal as a mental health provider is to make sure that you feel understood while offering treatment plans that are personalized, evidence-based, and aligned with your comfort level. I will be your advocate and together we can get you feeling like your best self.

Life can be unpredictable and often messy. When we least expect it we are faced with unexpected events that leave us confused, hurt and frequently bewildered. My passion is to restore individual, families and marriages. I am highly trained in the area of individual therapy, couples therapy divorce, premarital counseling and grief therapy. We will work together to help you break free from negative thought patterns that lead to destructive behaviors. Together we can identify what hinders you and how to remove the roadblocks to begin living a life with meaning.

I do not judge people that is not my role. I am open to all individuals who want to make a change in their lives and I feel fortunate to be a part of that journey with the person. I believe this is a partnership between myself and my client to explore what the issues may be, cime up with treatment goals and then work on these changing them if needed as we progress.

Through effective and diligent practice and active participation, a tangible difference can be made in your lives, maybe a small one, but a real one. Many of the effective strategies developed over the last twenty to thirty years have commonalities that can be flexibly applied to an individual's specific situation. We start by getting a better understanding of what is going on for the individual and begin to focus on a specific fear, worry, sadness, problem, or other issue and then develop a specific plan together.Â

My goal is to create a slightly softer space for people during times of challenge and growth, to partner with people as they dig deep and strive for wellness is truly an honor. I believe that genuine connection and relationship is itself healing, and if you are brave enough to confront the barriers you face to living your best life, then I will gladly join
you in support of your wellness.

I will work alongside you through this entire process and will provide you with the right support and resources.
With a focus on the complex ad crucial connections between mind and body, I am able to provide an empathetic
and empowering attitude toward your emotional struggles, aspirations, and personal growth.

As a mental health clinician, it is my intention to create a safe, open, therapeutic space for individuals to explore, process, learn and grow from their unique experiences, while fostering connection and building their skill set. I believe we will work together to help you thrive through a process of identification and reflection, exploring cognition and need for emotional expression. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, non-judgmental, trusting environment to hold space for open-minded mind body connection.
