When you’re feeling out of control, overwhelmed or unable to cope effectively, your life may feel out of balance. Talking to someone about the events or circumstances that led to these feelings can be helpful. Understanding the connection between our thoughts, feeling and actions can be life changing. Sometimes we need to peel back the onion a bit, in a safe environment, to be able to move forward. My goal is to work in collaboration with you to help you feel more prepared to adapt to the feeling and challenges you are experiencing and to learn some skills to be more in control and content with your life.

“Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.” Brene Brown

I believe deeply that we are not meant to go at life alone. We need one another. However, letting others in takes much courage. I will never take for granted the huge privilege it is to be welcomed into a person’s life. My goal as your medical provider is to come alongside people in their life journey, giving tools to better health so that you can thrive in your own unique way. I hope that you can feel welcome to show up here just as you are, and that, together, we can make tomorrow better.

It is so cheesy to say, but I went into mental health to help people, to be able to supply the tools as well as walk through life with you. It is so brave to be vulnerable and ask for help, so for you even being here on this page, I applaud you, seriously! If you do schedule an appointment, regardless of whether it is with me or another provider, I wish you all the best on your journey!

My intention is that from the very start, you would feel at ease, understood and optimistic. Let’s team up to lessen your concerns and discover a path forward.

Jamie Hughes Family Care Center
Jamie Hughes, LCSW

I approach therapy through a person-centered and strengths perspective. I trust that each of my clients is the expert of their own lives and feel honored to walk alongside them as they work toward their goals. Therapy is one of the best ways to give back to yourself and experience personal growth. I specialize in issues surrounding family building, marital, and individual life challenges, past and present. I also have extensive experience in adoption, fertility journeys, and pregnancy-related experiences.

Rachel Miner Family Care Center
Rachel Miner, LMFT
I am passionate about helping individuals and families become their best selves by encouraging them to work through trauma, be kinder to themselves, and maintain positive relationships with others. I have training in EMDR, which is an evidence-based practice that can help decrease the daily effects that are experienced from past traumas. Together we can create a collaborative and safe space for you to find healing and to enhance your relationships, with others and yourself.
Blake Fleet Family Care Center
Blake Fleet, MA, LPC, LAC
I assist individuals struggling with addiction, PTSD, anxiety, depression, life struggles, relationship issues, and other severe mental health concerns. I firmly believe that the relationship is one of the most important aspects of counseling. I bring a genuine and compassionate stance to my counseling sessions. Moreover, I also believe it is essential to integrate evidence-based practices to ensure individuals obtain their treatment goals.
Stephanie Spjuth Family Care Center
Stephanie Spjuth, LCSW

My approach to therapy is creating an open and comforting environment where the therapeutic relationship can grow naturally. I believe that my client is the expert of their own life. I believe my role is to be a reflecting mirror to offer guidance and a safe space to process any emotions and events. I am an EMDR-trained therapist and use this as my main modality along with concepts from IFS, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and several other modalities depending on the circumstances.

Chris Renick Family Care Center
Chris Renick, LPCC
I enjoy working with my clients to cultivate a better quality of life. This can mean being active in a lot of different ways from developing better coping strategies, to processing the past and present or planning for the future. Sometimes it means engaging in challenging development and sometimes it can be enjoyable and rewarding or not as difficult as it first seemed. There is no need to fix anything or polish your thoughts before you get here, just come as you are and we will get started.

I take pride in my patient care. I am an empathetic and thorough medical provider. If a provider can’t listen to
their patients, they shouldn’t have patients. I am confident in my care plans and although I do martial arts and have a great roundhouse, I am not scary at all. I meet patients where they are and I promise you that you will
always leave our visits feeling heard and cared for.

To prospective clients: I am here to listen and act as a guide during your therapy process. You are the expert on your life, and I have expertise in counseling, so we can bring these two things together. If you have mental health needs concerning anxiety, depression, unresolved grief, unresolved trauma, relationship/communication
difficulties, addiction, or uncertainty about your identity, I look forward to working with you to find the underlying causes or influences of your struggles that are interrupting your daily life.

Working in behavioral health care is very important to me; it is important to end the cycle and break the negative stigmas associated with behavioral and mental health concerns. These concerns are all valid and we as people all deserve to feel seen and heard, especially as it pertains to our health. All patients deserve to feel safe and have the courage to express their concerns freely, knowing that they are not being judged and that the entire team is here for them. I am here for them. And we are all here for each other. I am at my best when I am helping others, and my mission is to bring that to life with each interaction through a very intentional warm, empathetic and compassionate approach. I thank you for sharing your journey to healing with us.
